I would like to share a bit about myself. Growing up in Germany I came to the US as a young woman. I started work in social services helping families and kids, then obtained my doctorate and ran a private psychology practice for 15 years. I have specialized training in trauma-focused work and other therapies which formed the bulk of my practice over the years
My initial encounter with the idea of universal consciousness was unexpected and serendipitous. In 2003 I accidentally scheduled an Akashic record reading session. The experience sparked a desire for more understanding. I began researching and training in alternative healing approaches, taking workshops and courses in various modalities.
I was unable to use these new skills in my private practice as therapy and mental health treatment is limited by professional standards and ethical codes and principles that focus on evidence-based methods. These mainly are structured conversations exploring thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, with various approaches like CBT, psychodynamic therapy and so on. Over recent years, more emphasis has also come to somatic oriented treatments that involve the body and working with the body to become aware and release emotional blocks and held emotions. Spiritually focused and energy healing are outside this scope and are considered nonscientific. The spirit-mind-body connection is usually not considered in psychotherapy and at best is utilized as an adjunct tool as through meditation or prayer.
Energetic healing approaches like Psych-K, Spiritual Response Therapy, Divine I Am Transmissions, Divine Healing Master Key to Ascencion or Healing through the Akashic Records recognize the interconnectedness of all and operate in the quantum field from which they foster a state of optimal health and peace. As energetic beings we can promote well-being by balancing our energy bodies through the mind, body, and spirit connection. When we connect with universal energy, we can clear blockages and imbalances and restore balance and harmony. In this manner spiritual and energetic approaches and techniques can work on health concerns, behaviors, negative judgements or emotional states, as well as on conflicts or sabotage, energetic blocks and many other recalcitrant issues and concerns.
To me spiritual and energy healing is the "rocket engine approach" to what I have been doing all these years, facilitating beneficial and curative change with and for my clients.
